Most of my best work started with someone else's memory.

A place you went back to for years. A view from a house you no longer live in. The garden your grandmother kept. Somewhere you've been that you want to hold onto without having to explain why.

I take on a small number of commissions each year - original paintings made specifically for you, rooted in a place, a moment, or a feeling worth keeping. If you have something in mind, I'd love to hear about it.

What’s possible

Original paintings of acrylic on canvas or watercolor inspired by a place, a memory, or an everyday moment you want to live with. I work in looser style that captures just enough detail to relive the moment. Most commissioned paintings come from a conversation about where you've been and what it felt like to be there.

How it Works

A NOTE ON PRICING: Commissioned work typically start at $150 but varies per project and size.

We start with a conversation. Fill out the form below with as much detail as you can about what you have in mind - the place, the memory, the feeling, whatever is clearest to you. I'll follow up within a week to ask questions and tell you honestly whether it's a good fit for my practice right now.

I send a proposal. If we're moving forward, I'll send a written proposal with the scope, timeline, pricing, and any reference materials or sketches that feel useful. A deposit secures your spot- 50% upon project start and 50% before shipping.

I make the work. I'll share progress along the way - usually one or two photos at key stages - so you're not waiting in the dark. You're not getting a real-time vote on every decision, but you'll know where things are.

It arrives. Finished work is carefully packed and shipped with insurance. I'll send tracking and care instructions with every piece.

A good fit if…

  • You have a realistic timeline - most commissions take six to ten weeks from deposit to delivery.
