WHO THIS APPLIES TO

This policy applies to anyone who visits the Curated by Aidan Kay website, makes a purchase, subscribes to The Studio Edit newsletter, or inquires about design services.

WHAT INFORMATION I COLLECT

When you make a purchase, I collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment information is processed securely through SQUARESPACE PAYMENTS and I do not store your full payment details on my end.

When you subscribe to The Studio Edit, I collect your email address and any other information you choose to provide you with our newsletter as stated in the form before subscribing.

When you fill out an inquiry form, I collect your name, email address, and any details you share about your project.

Like most websites, this site also automatically collects certain technical information when you visit - including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited - through cookies and analytics tools. This information is used in aggregate to understand how people use the site and improve the experience.

HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

I use your information to process and fulfill your orders, communicate with you about your purchase or inquiry, send The Studio Edit newsletter if you have subscribed, improve the site and shop experience, and comply with legal obligations.

I will never sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

EMAIL MARKETING

If you subscribe to The Studio Edit, you'll receive weekly emails with new pieces, studio updates, and other content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. I use SQUARESPACE EMAIL CAMPAIGNS to manage the newsletter, and your email address is stored on their platform in accordance with their privacy policy.

COOKIES

This site uses cookies - small files stored on your device — to keep the shop functioning properly, remember your cart, and understand site traffic through analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function properly without them.

I use Squarespace's built-in analytics and may also use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. These tools collect anonymous, aggregate data and do not identify you personally.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES

This site is built on Squarespace. Payments are processed by SQUARESPACE. The newsletter is managed by SQUARESPACE EMAIL CAMPAIGNS. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. I choose service providers carefully and only work with reputable platforms.

DATA RETENTION

I retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. If you'd like your information deleted from my records, please contact me at [your email] and I'll take care of it.
